As someone who has underlying health issues that put me at a higher risk for complications with the coronavirus, and someone who lives with an immunocompromised person, I’ve felt afraid for my health and my mom’s health. I’ve felt angry at people who are protesting the measures that are keeping people like me and my mom from getting sick.
I wondered if there were other students at RIT who were feeling the same way I am. Young people are assumed to be less susceptible to the dangerous symptoms of this virus. So it often feels like we’ll be called on to work to keep the world moving. But what about young people like me?
