With 320,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New York City, there seems to be no end in sight. Simple actions such as grocery shopping have become a burden for most. For my Aunt Nairi Kooroglian, living in New York City has never been tougher. With compromised lungs, she is more at risk than many others, making daily life difficult. Below, Nairi discusses her experience dealing with this worldwide pandemic.
